Tea Break

Just stopped for a little tea break to say that I've got loads I want to blog about but I'm being strict with myself and am focusing my energies on my scarf.  I'm right at the end - just weaving in the ends and I'm there!

Be right back.

  4. Can't wait to see it. Your posh tea looks rather lovely.

  5. Oh no you tease, can't wait to see your finished project, I know what you mean about dividing your time, I love to blog but also want to concentrate on my crochet x x

  6. You are a tease! That scarf looks beautiful but you're right, blogging takes up so much time so it's definitely wise to stay away until you've got the important things finished! x

  7. Cant wait to see it. Hurry up and get some piccies taken he he. Melanie x

  8. Oooh I can't wait to see your scarf :o)

thank you for your sweet comment on my blog, In answer to your embroidery question (i am no expert by the way!)
I drew my design onto white paper with a dark outline, i then placed my pillowcase on the top of my design with tape.
i then taped it to a window and (scary bit!)I used a very fine (0.1 mm tip) permanent black pen to trace my design onto the pillowcase.
because the line is so fine the stitches covered it, i only used 2 strands of embroidery thread it it was fine, couldn't see the pen at all.

I hope that makes sense, if you need to know anything else just let me know
    good luck

  9. Stop with the teasing..!!! Hurry up and get it finished... there's been a big build up to the reveal of this scarf, I'm getting far too impatient and want to know what it looks like! :-)

  10. UNDER PRESSURE!!!!!!!! (I'll be David Bowie, you can be Freddie Mercury).

Really hope the scarf is going well my darl. Re your comment on my bloggerwoggerdoodah, I have NO idea why you may find my dad familiar. He isn't famous (I wish!!!!!) and I can't think that he looks like anyone.

Whereas my husband looks like a mixture of a very poor man's David Tennant and the lead singer of Franz Ferdinand.....

  11. Where did my comment go????? Who stole it????
I said I loved your tea bag and was that a book on tea or a tea bag holder and was that 'Earl Grey' or his lady in that bag, I mean lovely muslin dress.
